The Windhoff rail trailer GBA is build for the costaffordable transportation of equipment and materials to construction sites and railway stations.

The trailer is multifunctional and thanks to the optional container with checker plate floor it’s suitable for various bulk materials. The ballast box is mounted on the trailer by using a Twist-Lock System.

The low weight of the trailer allows a rapid de- and rerailing using a two-way excavator. The overall width of the trailer of 2,500 mm ensures the transportation on the road with a standard truck.

Thanks to the existing authorization by DB Netz AG in accordance with Directive 931 of track construction the trailer GBA may be used in accordance to directions on construction site by DB Netz AG.

The options available from 4m, 5m and 6m length offers the right track construction trailer for every application. Due to the high payload of about 20,000kg the Windhoff trailer is ideal for use in railway construction.

The Windhoff rail trailer GBA is equipped with a 12V LED system which automatically detects the direction of driving.

The standard coupling rod is available as straight type and Z type.

Furthermore, the standard specification contains a Rock-inger coupling, various eyelets and SI 002 wheels with a diameter of 650mm.

The fail-safe pneumatic braking system is controlled by the towing vehicle. An emergency braking system and maneuvering function is existing.
